Player Equipment[]

What does equipment do?
Equipment gives your players a small boost to whatever skills you choose when you purchase it. This is also the only way to get skills above 100.0.

What types of equipment are there?
There are three types of equipment that can be purchased with cash from your team salaries, which include gloves, hats, and shoes.

There is one additional type of equipment that must be purchased with credits, which is the bat.

How much does equipment cost?
The bat costs 40 credits per increment up to a total of 1000 credits for a +5 bat.

As you cannot upgrade equipment, make sure you get the +5 all at once if you want - otherwise you will have to buy another.

The gloves, hats, and shoes are scaled in price depending on the bonus as follows:

  • 0.0-1.0: $1,000
  • 1.2-2.0: $10,000
  • 2.2-3.0: $100,000
  • 3.2-4.0: $1,000,000
  • 4.2-5.0: $10,000,000
  • 5.2-7.8: Cannot purchase in this range.
  • 8.0----: $100,000,000

Do not expect to be able to buy +8 gloves, hats, and shoes if you are not in a Major Pro League. Even then, you will have to save up for the top equipment over the course of your career.

Prices are both for balance between leagues and to give your player's something worth saving for.

How do I know the equipment's affect on my player's skills?
Affected skills will show in green on your player's homepage.

How do I wear/remove my equipment?
Go to your player's equipment page and click the Equip/Unequip links beside the equipment that you want to change.

Equipment that you have just purchased will be automatically equipped if you do not have anything already equipped in that slot.

Can I sell equipment?
Yes, all equipment sales will give you a 50% return on investment. So, a +5 bat will give you 500 credits and a +2.0 Shoe will give your player $5,000.
